If you’re a coach, healer, or psychedelic space holder, your work goes far deeper than the generic surface level content you see everywhere.
A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) is here and I guess it’s here to stay. Lately I’ve been hearing stories about people using AI as their therapist, astrologer, healer, even romantic partner. Cringe! Will A.I. totally replace humans and the need for a real, organic human to hold space for you?
The A.I. “takeover” discussion with some friends recently led me to explore… would anyone EVER use A.I. to be your psychedelic facilitator, psychedelic therapist, or psychedelic space holder?
CRINGE. Alas, this is the world we’re in, I suppose…. or is it??
Would YOU want an A.I. to facilitate your ayahuasca ceremony? Would you trust an A.I. to serve you psilocybin mushrooms? Or even use A.I. to hold space for medicines as powerful as a Bufo or a 12+ hour Iboga journey?
Goddess help us all.
Just imagine that for a moment, an online A.I. robot, a non-human (AI, btw, is wrong and “hallucinates” a LOT) telling you how to dose yourself i.e. “serving” you medicine, telling you how to open a ceremony, and guiding you through the ups and downs of your spiritual process.
Wild, right? Personally, I’m not a fan of this idea.
But that’s not really what this article is about. It’s about YOU and YOUR FUTURE. These questions about the future of AI’s role in transformational and therapeutic spaces have come to mind recently after a few interesting conversations and experiences lately….
Someone booked a discovery call with me about joining my 1-1 Private Coaching Program. We got onto a Zoom call, and as soon as she saw me, she said, “Wow, it’s really you! It’s so good. You’re a real person!”
“YOU’RE A REAL PERSON, BETH?!” (Yes, I am… And I actually wrote this, too).
It’s not the first time I’ve heard something along those lines, and it’s been happening more and more over the last couple years.
Part of that, I think, is because there are so many coaches that don’t do their own discovery calls or aren’t actually coaching inside of their own programs. They outsource their exploratory calls, their facilitation, even their group coaching sessions.
I’ll admit, I tried outsourcing exploratory calls for a season last year and it didn’t work well. The energy just wasn’t aligned.
I realized that being the coach and the face of my coaching programs really matters. People aren’t just investing in information or strategy; they’re investing in connection, resonance, and trust. When I personally show up for discovery calls, I get to start building that connection right away. It sets the tone for what it’s like to work with me: real, authentic, and human. That’s something no A.I. or automation can recreate.
I also hear, “…. you’re so REAL and AUTHENTIC”.
A.I. is not the perfect shortcut to business success
It’s funny, because the world we live in has already become a place where we don’t always expect to find a real human on the other end. I find that fascinating, especially since we’re only at the very beginning stages of artificial intelligence.
Mark Andreessen once said in an interview with Lex Fridman that A.I. will eventually become like air, something we’re constantly surrounded by, woven into every part of life. It’s a powerful thought. I grew up without the internet, and now it’s part of my everyday reality. I’m online a lot, probably like most of us, and it’s almost impossible to imagine life without it. AI is heading in that same direction.
What inspired me to write about this is that I’ve been seeing a lot of coaches promoting programs that promise to help you “use A.I. to grow your business fast.” The message is basically: join my program, and I’ll teach you all the A.I. tricks to make your business take off overnight.
And look, I get it. Everyone loves a shortcut. We live in what I like to call the “Amazon Prime effect” era where we want everything delivered instantly. Now that A.I. can write your content in two minutes, generate your reels, draft your sales pages, and handle your social media, it’s easy to see why people are tempted.
Some coaches genuinely want to help others create impact. But there are also plenty of people chasing the next big trend, especially in the coaching and psychedelic space who want to “get rich quick”.
They’ve done a few journeys, see facilitators charging $3,500 a session, and think, “I can do that too.” The problem is, this work isn’t just about knowing the tools or having the right tech. It’s about presence, integrity, and being real.
A.I. cannot replace YOU…the real YOU
A few weeks ago, I talked about this idea of being a real, organic human being during an Instagram Live, which turned into an email, a podcast episode, and now, this blog post. I actually find myself feeling excited about all the people turning to AI to run their businesses.
Because here’s the truth: those who stay connected to our authentic selves, the ones who show up in your truth, your voice, and your energy are going to stand out even more.
AI can be helpful, but it can’t replace your essence. It can’t replicate the frequency of your heart, your presence, or your lived experience. As A.I. becomes more like air (it’s everywhere and everyone is using it) the most valuable thing you can bring to your business is your realness.
If you haven’t played around with AI yet, you’ll see what I mean when you do. I’ve experimented with it quite a bit, and honestly, I usually end up spending more time revising what it writes than if I’d just written it myself.
Even when I feed it full examples of my tone and writing style, the result never really lands. It might sound polished, but it doesn’t sound like me and ends up being double the work, so why rely on it?
These days, I only use A.I. for small things like organizing ideas, outlining blog posts, or brainstorming. But when it comes to writing real content, it just feels flat. Not necessarily bad, just dry and a little lifeless.
Authenticity Is the Real Differentiator in Your Business
Here’s the thing (and I laugh because one of my former clients used to tease me for saying that phrase all the time). As more of us become sensitive and attuned to energy, we can feel when something has heart and when it doesn’t.
People can sense when your content is written by something that isn’t fully alive, that doesn’t carry your emotional frequency or resonance.
Now, I do believe that all is Spirit. So I do believe that on some level A.I. is part of Spirit too. But it doesn’t carry the vibration of a human heart. It doesn’t have your lived experience, your soul essence, or your authenticity.
This is exactly why I’m so passionate about staying authentic and showing up as myself. I’m committed to running my business from my heart before anything else, because that’s what truly creates growth and alignment.
The businesses I’ve seen take off are the ones led by people who are deeply connected to their open hearts.
By people who combine energetic resonance with clear communication, strategy, and a deep understanding of who they serve and how to effectively speak to them so that they want to say “yes” to what you offer.
If you can’t connect through your own heart first, how can you expect A.I. to figure it out for you? When your content doesn’t come from that authentic place, your audience will feel it; something will always feel off and you’re going to be left wondering why you’re not attracting your ideal clients. Especially in spaces like coaching, healing, and psychedelics where you’re literally working with people’s souls, hearts, traumas, and energy fields.
Real Energy Recognizes Real Energy
If you’re facilitating deep transformation, you can’t fake realness. People will always FEEL whether you’re truly present or just going through the motions. And the more sensitive and awake the world becomes, the more that authenticity will matter.
I can’t tell you how many times people have said to me, “Wow, I really vibe with you,” or “You’re so authentic, I can feel your energy, your passion, and how much you care.”
And I know that’s true, because it’s coming from a deeply embodied place. When I share, it’s not about saying the “right” thing. It’s about letting what’s true move through my heart naturally.
After years of doing this work, I can feel the difference between when I’m speaking versus when something is speaking through me. I don’t even love using the word “channeling,” but that’s really what it is; my channel opens, and what comes out feels like an energetic activation.
People who are in my field, whether they’re in my live workshops, coaching containers, reading my emails, or listening to this podcast, can feel it. It’s not just words. It’s energy.
But if A.I. is doing that work for you, like writing your content, creating your messages, or trying to sound like you, it’s going to feel different. Even if it looks polished, it won’t feel alive.
A.I. pulls from patterns and data that already exist. It can’t access your personal truth, your heart frequency, or the lived wisdom that gives your words their power. That’s why so much AI-generated content sounds flat. It’s missing real presence.
Maybe in time, A.I. will become more sophisticated and able to mirror our energetic signatures more accurately. It’s possible that one day, technology will evolve to hold something that feels more personal, more connected. Cringe again.
But for now, what truly resonates is YOU. Your humanity, your presence, your frequency. That’s what people connect to, and that’s what A.I. can’t replace.
There’s already talk about A.I. becoming an extension of us as humans, which honestly feels a little eerie. Because at that point, it’s not really you in your organic, embodied form—it’s more of a step into transhumanism.
And while that’s a whole different conversation, I’m not here to say it’s right or wrong. I just want to offer another perspective to help you think about the difference between taking shortcuts in your business and doing the deeper work to build something that truly supports you.
There is No “Magic Shortcut” to YOU
I tell my clients all the time, there’s no magic pill and no magic bullet. Yes, working with a coach and being part of a program like my mastermind or private coaching can absolutely speed things up and make the process smoother. It helps bring clarity and structure so you can focus your energy on what you’re here to do, like serving clients, creating heart-centered content, showing up as a leader, and building your own community.
But if you’re just chasing the quick wins or the get-rich-quick formulas, it usually backfires. I’ve seen it over and over again. People end up feeling disappointed by their lack of results, burned out, or stuck in a business that doesn’t feel like them. Sometimes they even attract clients who are completely misaligned people who don’t value their work or who drain their energy.
And that’s really the difference between building from the heart and trying to build from a shortcut.
I’ll never forget a client I worked with a few years ago. I walked him through the first process I teach, and he actually asked, “Why can’t I just copy this from other people’s websites?” He had been looking at other purpose coaches and wanted to model his business language after theirs.
I remember thinking, so you want to copy someone else’s words and hope it magically works for you?
That opened the door for a deeper conversation about how this kind of business actually grows. You can’t build a soul-led business by borrowing someone else’s voice, strategy, or identity. And honestly, you never really know how successful someone is just by what they’re presenting online. A polished Instagram feed or website doesn’t tell you the truth about someone’s bank account or the health of their business.
These days you can rent private jets and luxury cars for staged photo shoots. There are coaches who do exactly that, trying to look like they’re making millions when they’re not. It’s ridiculous. And I always ask my clients, do you really want to be part of that world?
I don’t. I am here for the organic world of embodied business, authentic business, and service-based business that is not driven by ego or the get-rich-quick illusion.
Where A.I. Can Support…Without Taking Over
There is nothing wrong with using A.I. as an enhancer or tool in your business. I am almost certain my podcast producer uses A.I. to create my show notes and then goes back to editing them. I’m also pretty sure the woman who helps me edit blog posts probably uses A.I. to generate headings. Tasks like that are simple and helpful, and they save time.
But I still go back and edit and refine everything so it reflects my voice. This is very different from outsourcing your entire presence or relying on A.I. to replace your heart, your voice, or your deeper message.
Running a soul-led business is a long-term, sustainable path. It is not about shortcuts. It is about building something that lasts because it comes from who you really are.
I always tell people that my Group Mastermind Program and Private Coaching is centered around building a long-term sustainable business. If you show up consistently in your business with the steps that I teach you, it will continuously grow.
One of the reasons people have major downturns in their business or lulls for a longer period of time is that they do not stay consistent with the steps that I teach them. Sometimes they get down and feel bad, and then they don’t show up. Inevitably something ends up getting in the way of their progress, or there’s a number of excuses for why they’re not showing up and doing the deeper work.
Here’s the reality check: If you want a successful business that continues to grow year after year, a business where people see you as a leader, an expert, and someone they genuinely trust, then you have to commit to the long haul. Real success does not come from quick hits of content, shortcuts, or relying on A.I. to pump out a bunch of surface-level FLUFF material.
True growth comes from being embodied in your heart and soul. It comes from remembering why you do this work, what your mission is, and what you feel called to bring into the world.
Showing Up With Your Unique Medicine
When you consistently show up and share your unique medicine, something powerful happens. You begin to build a resonance that people can feel. That kind of consistency is not about perfection. We all have off days. I have days where I can’t record a solo episode or where my energy is low. That’s normal.
But generally, when your business is guided by inspired action, when you’re in alignment and you truly love what you do, and when your heart is fully in it, showing up becomes easier. It becomes natural. It becomes an expression of who you are, not a chore or a forced performance.
This is the difference between building a business from your authentic, embodied presence here on Earth versus trying to shortcut your way to riches by using AI as a replacement for your real voice. Authenticity, alignment, and heart will always create deeper, longer-lasting results.
If you are a psychedelic pioneer, a space holder, an integration coach, a psychedelic assisted healer, a therapist, or any kind of psychedelic informed guide, you are doing work at a completely different level. You are not just selling a $99 dollar course on manifestation or a quick program on writing the best Facebook ads or enhancing your sex life.
You are working with people’s psyches, souls, traumas, hearts, and energies. You are tapping into their lineage, their ancestors, and the deeper layers of their being. Whether you fully recognize it or not, the work you do in the psychedelic space is profound.
Because of this, building your business cannot rely on pumping out generic content and hoping that someone stumbles onto an Instagram post and decides to pay you four or five figures to work with you. It goes much deeper than that. If you want a real business that is authentic, embodied, aligned with your truth, and rooted in your soul, then I am the right coach for you and my coaching programs would be great for you.
If you are looking for the quickest way to make money in the psychedelic space, I really wish you luck and I love to know how that works out for you. I am not being sarcastic. Maybe my theory is completely wrong. But for many years I have had crystal clear visions about where this world is heading, and those visions are becoming more accurate and more obvious.
Returning to Heart, Presence, and Authentic Service
As the world leans further into AI, more content, more social media, more videos, more writing, and more information coming at us from every direction, I feel like what is actually going to happen is people’s nervous systems will become so overstimulated and overwhelmed. The constant noise will become too much.
And what people will crave is the opposite–something more simple, embodied, and down to Earth. Almost quiet. They will crave something real and human, something that feels like a place their nervous systems can be at peace in.
I am already hearing this from clients and from people in my community. They tell me that their system feels overloaded. They don’t like how they feel. They want to take breaks. They cannot stay on social media and they can’t keep consuming endless content.
This is why I believe we are entering a time when embodied coaches, healers, and space holders will be needed more than ever. We will need people to be coaches and healers who can hold the opposite frequency from what the world is currently saturated with. We will see how it unfolds, but this is my honest prediction.
