Aligned Abundance: Creating Abundance from Scarcity & Stuck

Heads up! I’m host a LIVE masterclass, Aligned Abundance Rooted Receiving: Release Your Money Wounds & Receive More Abundance with Integrity & Authenticity, next week. Join us LIVE here. If you missed it, you can always pay-what-you-wish for the previous version of this masterclass, Aligned Abundance: Release Your Money Wounds and Create More Abundance with Integrity and Authenticity.

Over the last nearly 10 years that I’ve been a business coach, without fail, MONEY, worthiness, and receiving has always been hugggggeee piece of the soul-expansion work I do with my clients. But it’s not ONLY about making more money in your coaching or healing buesiness (of course that’s important!)…

….but what’s really most important is shifting out of fear and into freedom…and from scarcity mindset into ALIGNED abundance and rooted receiving. If this sounds like you, keep on reading: this will be helpful if you’ve been wondering how to manifest more money, shift into abundance mindset, and create more momentum in your business and life when you’ve been feeling stuck, scarce or in a slump.

A while back, I created an all new pay-what-you-wish masterclass called Aligned Abundance: Release Your Money Wounds and Create More Abundance with Integrity and Authenticity.

It was the first time I’d ever created a workshop centered around abundance publicly, even though I’ve been coaching on abundance, money blocks, and creating flow in business for nearly 10 years, since day one as a business coach.

I felt inspired to put it out there in a bigger way. I didn’t overthink it. I had the space, the time, and the idea coming through me, so I followed that nudge and went for it. I kept the price super low and made it accessible, and I’m so glad I did. (By the way, you can still pay what you wish and grab the masterclass HERE if you missed it!).

What to do when abundance mindset feels impossible?

One of the big themes that came up during the workshop and one I’ve seen with so many of my clients over the years is this: how do you maintain and create abundance and flow when you’re just feeling down?

The truth is, we can’t always feel “ON”.. .and it’s hard to ALWAYS feel “high vibe”.  Sometimes we get stuck. Sometimes we fall into ruts. It’s normal. And sometimes the energy in our lives or even in the collective just doesn’t support momentum or creativity.

For some, this stuckness and low point only lasts a day or two. For others, it stretches into weeks.  When it extends beyond that, it usually signals that there’s something deeper going on, something worth exploring. Often, my clients are moving through a process of change, growth, and transformation.

What once felt aligned no longer feels exciting. Old strategies don’t work the way they used to. And instead of facing it directly, many people freeze, fall off completely, or distract themselves with “busy work” that doesn’t actually move them forward.

Where is your energy flowing?

Distraction is one of the pandemics of our time.  It’s no wonder so many people feel like they’re stuck, getting nowhere, and not living their dreams. They’re spending too much energy and time DISTRACTED instead of CREATING.

One of the first questions I ask my clients when they tell me they’re in a slump is: if you’re not working with clients right now, where is your energy, attention and time actually going?  What are you doing Monday through Sunday, from morning until evening?

The best way to answer this is simple: log your time. Keep a daily time diary for at least 30–40 days. Write down what you do each day, hour by hour. There are apps that help with this too.   No judgment. No shame. Just observe. This practice alone can reveal patterns you didn’t even realize were draining your precious energy or holding you back.

I actually experienced this myself while preparing the Aligned Abundance workshop. I offered it purely out of joy and experimentation, with zero expectations.

Honestly, I didn’t know if anyone would even sign up. I’ve hosted plenty of free workshops before, and some paid ones too, but this was my first paid online workshop of the year, and by August, I just wasn’t sure how it would land.

But here’s the thing: I wanted to do it anyway—for me, for fun, and for the people who felt called to join. Even if only three people signed up, I was ready to show up as if I were delivering a TED Talk.

And what I re-learned through that experience is something I’ve carried for years: when I feel stagnant or sense changes unfolding in myself or my business, the key is to get experimental.
Sometimes that means exploring new modalities I’ve been studying, sometimes it means trying something I’ve never offered before. But when I feel the least inspired or motivated, I remind myself—don’t stay stuck. Just do something.

When You’re Feeling Stuck, Do Something (Anything!)

I recently had a live coaching session with someone I know who does incredible work in the world, but she was feeling that heavy, “weird” energy that can come after big changes—whether it’s moving, shifting your business model, or losing clients. That unmotivated, foggy state is completely normal. Sometimes you simply can’t focus or find your groove, and that’s okay.

But when it lingers and you start to think, I could really use some clients, or it’s time to get moving in my business, the best thing you can do is: just do something. MOVE THE ENERGY. Like anything that feels “stuck”, the only way to get un-stuck is to literally move it. This applies to your lifeforce energy as much as it applies to anything else.

Here are some questions to ask yourself to start the process:

What would feel most FUN to share right now?

— What would be EXCITING to deliver to my audience or potential clients?

— What would MOVTIVATE me and spark my enthusiasm again?

— What would I do if MONEY DIDN’T MATTER?

Play Over Pressure! 🤸 Excitement Over Expectations! 🌈

When I created the Aligned Abundance workshop, I was genuinely excited to deliver it. To be honest, I wasn’t thrilled about the behind-the-scenes part…. making slides, organizing all the ideas swirling in my head, putting it on paper.

Honestly, I could’ve shown up on Zoom and channeled the whole thing without notes. But I knew that wouldn’t give participants the clarity they deserved. So I pushed through and prepared properly.

And the payoff? About 80 people signed up…. which, for a paid workshop, was way beyond what I expected. More importantly, the process itself brought fresh energy into my business. It was challenging, exciting, interesting, and playful all at once.

This is what I reminded my client of recently: if the choice is between doing nothing (and creating nothing, receiving nothing, sending no energy out)… or showing up and giving something your energy—the latter will always open the door for flow to return.

Energy Out, Energy In: The Power of Experimentation

Here’s the thing: when you’re stuck, you really only have two choices.

You can stay stuck, doing absolutely nothing. OR you can lean in, get curious, and treat it as a surrender experiment, just show up and do something.

If something new has been coming through you but fear is holding you back, you can either let it fester or you can give it life. I know this because I lived it. When I first felt called to come out publicly around psychedelics, I sat on that calling for more than 2.5 years.

I tiptoed around it, shared a little here and there, planted some seeds, but fear kept me from fully committing. Deep down, my hesitation was about safety and survival: Will my friends still support me? Will my community still accept me if I step into this?

Eventually, I reached a point where I knew it was all or nothing. I had to face my fear and give it 1000% of my energy with no expectation of the outcome. That choice to go all in changed everything.

It’s kind of like going to your first Ayahuasca ceremony. You could take a tiny drop to “test it out,” and sometimes that’s the right approach. But if you only ever take a drop, you’ll never know the full experience. To really understand what’s possible, you have to step in with full intention.

The same goes for your soul’s work. Yes, you can test the waters, but at some point, if the calling keeps knocking at your heart, you owe it to yourself to give it space to live in the world, not just for others, but first and foremost for you.

Why Your Selfish Acts Can Serve the World (!!!)

A few years ago, I started the Hudson Valley Conscious Events Community group where I live. Honestly, I didn’t do it for the community at first… I did it for me. (Me me me!! lol). I just wanted to go to more events, meet new people, make more friends, and dance and sing more.   I remember thinking, I’ll create this and if it works, great. If it doesn’t, maybe I’ll just move somewhere else. Ha!

Well, it worked. In fact, it grew so much that we eventually maxed out. Strangers would come up to me and say, I’m so glad you started this, it’s been amazing. Thank you so much. And every time, I’d tell them the truth: I started it for myself. It was a selfish act, something I wanted to see in the world. And it blossomed.

That’s the power of starting something from the soul. When you create from that place—whether you call it spirit, source, Earth, or simply your higher self—you’re having a conversation with something greater. Do it for that connection. Do it for you. And then let the rest unfold.

The worst-case scenario? Maybe only a handful of people show up. That’s exactly how I felt with my first psychedelic summit. I thought, If 40 or 50 people sign up, that’s fine. Instead, it grew into thousands, year after year.

When Things Don’t Go as Planned

So if your first attempt doesn’t draw the numbers you imagined, don’t call it a failure. Maybe the timing wasn’t right. Maybe the people who needed it were busy. Maybe they’ll be ready the next time. There are a thousand reasons attendance might be low, but none of them mean your idea isn’t worth pursuing.

Everything is an experiment:

— Host a workshop.

— Launch a new program.

— Get out of your head and share your heart.

— Serve others.

And if the response feels small, keep going. Keep experimenting. These things take time to take root. That’s why I’m so grateful for the people who signed up for my Aligned Abundance workshop. But the real point is this: create for YOU, for your soul’s service, and for the joy of experimentation. The rest will follow.

Keep the Energy Moving

Out of the ~30,000 people in my audience, maybe only a small fraction joined this workshop. And that’s okay. The first time you put something out into the world is never the final version, it’s just the beginning. Maybe I’ll offer something like this again, or maybe it will grow into a whole program around aligned abundance. Honestly, I don’t even know yet. What I do know is this: do something to get the energy moving.

Have a conversation with your soul. Say, “If this is really meant to come through me, if I’m supposed to share this work in the world, support me as I put it out there.”

Sometimes that support shows up in small ways, sometimes in big ones. But either way, don’t give up on yourself just because three people showed up when you wanted thirty. That doesn’t mean the rest of the world doesn’t want what you’re offering.

Getting Unstuck Takes Action (and Support)

The alternative is to stay stuck… doing nothing, beating yourself up, and spiraling into shame. That’s not serving you, and it’s certainly not serving anyone else. Stuckness, in many ways, is a choice. Beneath it, there’s often something deeper hiding, something unconscious you may not even realize is there.

This is where support matters. Having someone help you uncover what’s really in the way, whether it’s around your dreams, your business, or the abundance you want, can move you forward faster. That’s the deeper work I offer in my service to you: through spiritual business coaching and my various group business coaching programs.
