Sean T. McAllister is an attorney specializing in the regulatory, health care, business, and religious freedom aspects of psychedelic medicines and therapies in the United States.
His work includes, among many other clients and matters:
- Advising doctors, therapists, and licensed professionals on psychedelic assisted therapy (typically ketamine), including defense of licensure in disciplinary proceedings
- Assisting clients in getting licensed under Colorado’s regulatory psychedelic therapy program
- Advising clients on religious exemptions for psychedelic use, including serving as a lawyer for the Church of the Eagle and the Condor and the Church of the Celestial Heart, both of which received formal recognition from the US government to operate ayahuasca churches in the United States
- Drafting Colorado’s Natural Medicine Health Act, which legalized four psychedelics in the state
- Serving as a member of the Denver Psilocybin Mushroom Policy Review Panel
- Serving as General Counsel for the Kura Alliance
Sean is licensed to practice law in Colorado and California.
